[Budsuba]

Amazing!

I love the flow of this animation, and the fact that you can literally watch it twice and make it feel somehow different using the option to choose black or white.

Art and Animation 4.5/5:
very well done in this department...the only complaint is that some things went by too quickly to have the same effect as the other short animations within the movie.

Plot and Storyline 4/5:
Although not a true plot or story, the animation gave off a variety of messages, though some were vaguer and more subtle than others. The flow was a little off on some of the parts, as I mentioned above.

Music, Voice Acting, and Sound Effects 4/5:
The song of choice was of great quality and matched very well to the theme you weretrying to achieve.

Overall 4/5:
This animation is rather amazing, and the fact that you didnt let length be an obstacle and gave off the message you were aiming for is admirable. Overall, very great job!

[Two Persepctives II]

Refreshing!

Out of all the flashes you find on newgrounds, I found this one to be one of the most unique! The style was strikingly original and cool, meshing together both comedy and rather cool scenes to make for a fun animation. The pacing was good too, but i felt like things ended rather quickly and the general didnt get enough face time.

Art and Animation 5/5:
Wonderful details mesh well with the actually simplistic character design, bringing focus to the areas that matter. Shading, awesome special effects, and great backgrounds help seal the deal.

Plot and Pacing 4.5/5:
an interesting plot, marred only by the shortness of the flash and the lack of face time for the main villain, akin to darth mauls demise.

Music, Voice Acting, and Sound Effects 5/5:
the whole way through I found the sound to be high quality, with great actors, great sound effects, and great music.

Overall 4.5/5:
Overall this was a great short that all participants can be proud of, in all accounts. I can see this series becoming rather popular if it continues as it is.

Great!

The art and animation were great, the concept was cool as well, but I feel some components that could have made this amazing were missing. For one, the music left much to be desired, and I feel that if something were created to match the scenes, the animation would be much more powerful.

Another thing is that I feel that a few more setup scenes to flesh out what exactly was being accomplished would have made the audience more invested in the animation; possibly some scenes to elaborate on the sacred rule and the direness of their situation that required them to break it, maybe even add some depth (or really even add a layer at all to them) to the human protagonists.

All in all, you did a great job, but it certainly doesnt seem like a final cut, and it would be great to see a more fleshed out version if you ever did one

[Methus' Tower Defence]

Eyecandy...

...I feel like you took a great story, great graphics, and talent, and you wasted it on a poorly balanced concept. This game is completely unaccessible and involves nothing more than seemingly wasted clicks on a screen. I didnt even get past level 2 before saying that this game was boring. First of all, you force us to go through an even more difficult level with the same exact spell that didnt work at all the first way through (took 4 shots per guy, while the rest were slowly pummeling me. :\), and never properly explained many things. I dislike how much I had to infer from the interface, even if the interface was nice, because of lack of intuitive instruction. The graphics are really nice, but that is utterly useless since you made no use of it. No cutscenes, a limited topdown view, and screens I never really cared to look at anyways makes the graphics take a step down from the already boring gameplay. This isnt a bad game, but you need to go back into beta and balance the crap out of everything, as well as rethinking your upgrade system to be useful from the beginning.

Your new compositions have such power behind them, bringing the listener's imagination to a whole new level of clarity and depth. I found that the beat started off really well, got me hooked in and every step of the way you made sure that something new replaced the current beat before it became old. I like the style of it as well, and it would probably fit pretty well in a flash menu or something of that sort. With that in mind, I feel the beat got a bit weak at a few points, not really keeping up with the rest of it, so maybe go back through and see if you cant get a constant flow going...good job, 4/5, 8/10!

All of these themes make it difficult to choose the menu music, ingame music, etc. but hopefully you have a plan for which songs to go where?
