Well, its been a while now, and I havent blogged. A lot has happened: lost a dog, lost a cat, was nearly evicted from my house, got a girlfriend...all good stuff. I have been hard at work on my team's Power of Three game, and have decided to give you guys an update!

Animator's Update:

Artwork and concept work for many of the enemies, turrets, and other graphics have been drawn up and colored. Some new features have been introduced, mostly to help immerse the character better into the world of The Blood Throne. Sprites for the orcs, goblins, and hobgoblins are in the works, with many finished.

As a treat to anyone who watches this, here is an update on the world of Blood Throne:

The world of Blood Throne, Armacil, is a diverse but conflictive world, where only recently has humankind once again united and has been brought to peace. From the continent of Dairun, which provides the backbone of the United Terran Empire's (UTE) army, to the islands of Maryn, home to some of the largest cotton and sugarcane farms in the world.

Writer's Update:

In this update, I wanted to go into the main villain, King Raphael. Once a powerful and heavily influential King, Raphael was betrayed by his people. His armies destroyed all of Humankind's enemies, but when they finally destroyed them all, his own generals betrayed him. They attempted to kill him, but ultimately failed, and he was able to escape with his life...but not his sanity. He was left for dead in the deserts of Lunida, where he wandered for days in exile. When he felt himself to be in his last hours, a being came to him. A being of complete evil, but to the fallen king, he was vengeance. The being was Chimaera, one of the four Demon Lords, whom promised him power over those his armies vanquished so that he may reclaim the throne he once held. Blinded by his anger and desperation, the king accepted the gift from the lord. After the throne was taken once again by an emperor, King Raphael rose with his new armies to take it back. What was once left of his soul and mind has now decayed, and only hatred and vengeance is left in him. He now descends upon the great capital city, Maridigm, the home of the emperor...and the Blood Throne.
